A strong sense of belonging is essential for student success. Our program fosters community through:

• Cultural identity programs that celebrate heritage and empower students to embrace their stories.
• Peer networks & support groups that create safe spaces for students to share experiences and support each other.
• Cultural events & community gatherings that connect students to mentors, allies, and resources.

We help undocumented students navigate postsecondary pathways by providing:

• Workshops on college access, covering the application process, DACA/TPS considerations, and alternative education opportunities.
• Guidance on financial aid options, scholarship opportunities, and accessing in-state tuition benefits. 
• Career exploration & job readiness programs, including resume writing, interview preparation, and networking strategies.
• Support for skilled trades & vocational careers, including pathways to apprenticeships, trade certifications (e.g., electrician, plumbing, HVAC), and professional licenses in fields such as barbering, cosmetology, and healthcare (e.g., CNA, phlebotomy).

One Dream is committed to reducing financial barriers for undocumented students by offering:

• Financial aid opportunities for eligible students pursuing higher education or vocational training.
• Guidance on scholarships, private grants, & tuition assistance programs that do not require proof of citizenship.
• Support navigating in-state tuition policies for undocumented students in qualifying states.

We believe in the power of mentorship to inspire and guide students toward success. Our program provides:

• Mentor matching with formerly undocumented professionals and student leaders who can provide guidance.
• Career coaching, internship opportunities, and professional development support help students build a strong foundation for their futures.
• Networking events that connect students with industry professionals and advocates.

Understanding immigration laws and policies is crucial for undocumented students. We provide:

• Legal workshops covering immigration rights, DACA updates, and pathways to career readiness.
• Connections to trusted immigration attorneys and advocacy organizations for direct legal support.
• Resources to help students and families navigate challenges related to status and postsecondary access and opportunities.

Undocumented students often experience stress, anxiety, and uncertainty related to their status. We provide access to:

• Connections to culturally competent mental health services & counseling who specialize in working with undocumented youth to support students in managing fear, anxiety, and stress.
